Learning 2.0

Raleigh - Submitted by scholzet on Nov 25 2013

Makers will learn by doing, by inventing, and by exploring. The old ideas of Maria Montessori, and Seymour Papert will finally blossom in the world bringing the ideas of play, education, and curiosity together into spaces where ideas are truly explored.

NOW it's your turn...

Create a prototype - a concept image, comic strip, map, video interview, Arduino project, or any kind of made media or object that helps other players better understand this idea!

Local makers are a great resource! I've found in Macon, GA that our makers are eager to share their craft and passion for making especially with children and young people.

Social Media FTW! kickstarter is doing so well, proving that when people come together, we MAKE things possible, support creativity and original ideas, not companies that are money driven.

Perhaps you might focus on having a central location for the activities to take place. I've seen many public libraries get turned into makerspaces for kids. Then you would need to figure out the transportation piece.

Nothing, well maybe laziness, procrastination, else the future will always look good with a hope and a vision!
