Education is a walk in the park

San Jose - Submitted by GREENplanner on Jan 29 2014

There are large, iPadlike tablets mounted on trees. You scan your fingers to enter a secure session. At each tree, you connect with a new Guru. These Gurus teach you. At the end of your walk, your new education is stored in your public profile.

NOW it's your turn...

Create a prototype - a concept image, comic strip, map, video interview, Arduino project, or any kind of made media or object that helps other players better understand this idea!

You could also have various instructors collaborate from a variety of institutions -- public and private universities, community colleges, trade schools, centers for wellness -- and your independent education could contribute to a type of certification. That way, your Independent Learning Credits are something that can further connect you to more learning or people who want to collaborate with your skills.

I think that you could build the ipads directly into the trees. Instead of the metal edge on iPads now, you could just build it into the wood.
