Youth-Driven Learning Party

Denver - Submitted by sbberk on Feb 29 2016

Youth elect teachers to teach them (and have voice in hiring decisions), serve on a city-wide youth school board, nominate businesses and community organizations they want to join them, and design year-round civic projects that provide real world learning opportunities. School-based learning becomes 24/7 located everywhere in the city instead of school-based projects restricted to hour long classes.

NOW it's your turn...

Earlier I forgot to add you also need to have students attend and support the schools. But anyway, you need to have the schools built, have the school supplies and have all the plans for teachers ready.

stubborn school boards that want to stick to books and protect children from a world they are going to enter into some day anyway. Let them in and let them change it.

The government, the school board, the school district will possibly get in the way.
